Residents of Wortoe want police post

Ho, Nov. 15, GNA- Residents of Wortoe, near the Ho Polytechnic, have called on the Ho Municipal Assembly to as a matter of urgency set up a police post in the community to control activities of thieves, armed robbers other criminals in the area. They said houses were raided daily and people attacked and robbed at gun point. The residents some of whom were students of Ho Polytechnic said frequent criminal activities in and around the area were making life uncomfortable and unsafe. The residents said as a result, fear had engulfed the area as they live in constant fear while going about their daily activities. They alleged that criminal activities in the area were always high when Polytechnic students were back on campus and pleaded with the Municipal Assembly to ensure that a police post was provided to protect life and property.
