Residents of Adinkra-Akyi cry for toilet

Nkoranza (B/A) Feb. 18, GNA – Residents of Adinkra-Akyi, a suburb of Nkoranza, have appealed to Nkoranza South District Assembly to construct a place of convenience to help improve sanitation in the area. Mr. Kwadwo Asare, an opinion leader of Adinkra-Akyi, told GNA that the lack of the facility had compelled some people to defecate at a plantation belonging to the Nkoranza Preparatory School. He said “I fear for the lives of the people as the unhealthy conditions can cause the outbreak on an epidemic”. Mr. Asare urged the assemblyman for the area, Mr. Yaw Fosu-Munufie to liaise with the assembly to improve sanitation in the community.
