Residents in parts of Accra to enjoy ….

seamless wireless network with single access code

Residents of Osu, Labone, Cantonments, parts of Legon and Spintex would now enjoy seamless wireless network based on wi-fi protocols which gives the user an extended usage of the service.

This service which is being spearheaded by Blue Cloud Networks Limited (BCN), an ISO 9001 certified Internet Service Provider is geared towards eliminating the hotspot idea and enables individuals to use a single access code anywhere the service is available.

“With BCN you could use the same “password” to access the network in all of Osu, Labone, Cantonments and any other place within our coverage zone,” stated the Chairman, Kwesi Amoafo-Yeboah. This in addition to bringing high speed internet access to individuals and corporate organisations via existing wi-fi smartphones, tablets, and laptops also offers users a maximum experience and value for any internet bundle purchased.
BCN is concentrating on what is termed, the ‘first mile’ solution to ease the current problem of unavailability of end user internet connection. With this solution, the problem of leaving the comfort of one’s home to cyber cafes and hotspots to access the internet is curtailed.
The Head of Operations, Jude Laryea said the Company is strategising to cover all of Accra, parts of Kumasi, Western and Central regions by January 2014.
“Our operations are intended to extend to the whole of West Africa in phases and consequently allow data roaming at no extra cost,” stated the Head of Operations, Jude Laryea. “We want to make it easy, affordable and enjoyable for many people to browse, do live streaming and download stuff from the internet anywhere they are in the country.”
With an advanced and well researched technology, Blue Cloud provides a unique and unprecedented metropolitan WiFi network environment for data access that will allow both indoor and outdoor internet access. Data roaming is offered as an added advantage at no extra costs and pricing includes unlimited downloads with no capping.
