Reroy Cables donates to flood victims

Dr Jacob B.Quartey-Papafio, Chairman of Reroy Cables Limited, a subsidiary of Reroy Group has presented assorted items to victims of the flood disaster which occurred on June 3, 2015.

The items worth GH? 8,000, included bags of rice, mosquito nets, detergents, water and medicines, was to provide some relief and comfort to the affected victims.

He said the whole country sympathises with them for the unfortunate disaster and expressed concern about the poor management of the Odaw river, calling on government to make a comprehensive engineering infrastructure plan to curtail any unforeseen disaster.

Dr Quartey-Papafio urged all and sundry to keep the environment clean and avoid indiscriminate dumping of refuse since a clean environment is a collective responsibility.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to the Ghana News Agency thanked the Company for the gesture, saying that, the support would go a long way to reduce
