In an exhortation Rev. David Quayson, Chaplain of the 1BN, said it was good that as a nation, “we remember those who have contributed to the security of the nation and its people. Their efforts, no matter how meagre, helped to bring the nation this far.”

“As we remember what they have done and continue to do, let us also support them with our prayers and in kind to enable them put in their best, especially these days that armed rubbery is so rampant,” he said. Rev. Quayson reminded security personnel that it was only the good things they do that would be remembered with joy, “Because it is the good deeds of others that we remember today.”
