Mr Owusu-Berko said the police found Miss Mensah in supine position,= dead in a pool of blood.

He said the police followed a trail of blood drops from the dead body to the classroom where they found heavy blood stains on a desk in a corner on which was a Samsung mobile phone charger and three books belonging to Patrick Agbeve, 22, a student and principal suspect seen with the deceased earlier.

The police are withholding the names of the three other suspects. Mr Owusu-Berko said police also retrieved pellets that could be fired from a locally made pistol at the scene of the incident. 15 Oct 09
