Release autopsy report on Major Mahama – Judge

The District Court has ordered 37 Military Hospital and Dr Lawrence Badu Sei, a pathologist at the Korle- Bu Teaching Hospital to release the full autopsy report on the late Major Adam Mahama to the Director General of Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

The trial judge, Ebenezer Kwaku Ansah, became furious when he was told that the autopsy report of Mahama has not been released.

The prosecutor, DSP George Amegah, told the court they have forwarded the docket to the Attorney General without the autopsy.

He said the report is material in the speedy trial.

Accra News’ Ama Brako Ampofo reported on Tuesday, October 10 that the judge subsequently adjourned the case to 26 October for the report to be given to Director General of CID by the next date.
About 22 people are standing trail for the murder of Major Adam Mahama.
