Refocus your attention on early childhood education – Akufo-Addo to EP Church

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made a heartfelt appeal to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church to turn their attention to early childhood education in Ghana to help mould the next generation into men and women who would build a successful Ghana.

Speaking at the 8th General Assembly of the EP Church of Ghana underway at Legon in Accra, the President said “the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, like its counterpart, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, used to be very active in this sector. There is an obvious and great need in this sector, and we seem to be failing our young people. There can be no denying that the most critical stages of education for any child are the early years”.

According to a statement released by the Flagstaff House Communications Bureau, the president asked the church to help build the self-confident and prosperous Ghana that all desire.
