Redouble efforts at revenue generation – President urges

Kumasi, Oct. 13, GNA – Mr Kofi Boakye, National President of the Progressive Distillers and Retailers Association, has charged the members to ensure the regular payment of their income tax to assist the government in her developmental programmes.

Mr Boakye made the call when he addressed the Association’s monthly meeting at Abrepo in the Kumasi metropolis at the weekend.

The meeting discussed pertinent issues affecting the Association, which included improving the revenue base of the Association, punctuality to meetings and the general well-being of the Association. Mr Asamoah Frimpong, the public Relations Officer said the Association would soon organise a series of seminars for its society secretaries to up-date their knowledge in records keeping.
