Reconciliation is a prerequisite for peace – Reverend Cudjoe

The Reverend Edward Odame Cudjoe, General-Overseer of the Kings Church Ghana, has said sustainable peace could not be achieved if the people do not accept to live in genuine reconciliation.

He therefore advised Ghanaians to accept to forgive one another for their wrongs, especially as the nation prepared towards this year’s general elections.

Rev. Cudjoe was delivering the sermon at a Good Friday service at the Church at South-Suntreso in Kumasi.

“The death of Christ brought unity, peace and reconciliation to the world and this should not be lost on the people as they marked the occasion.”

He asked Christians to provide the needed leadership to promote harmony in the society.

All should also contribute their quota to the socio-economic development of the country.

They should be patriotic and work assiduously in their various fields of endeavour to make things better, he added.**
