Re-activate abandoned clinic – Communities appeal to govt

Kotokuom (Ash), June 7, GNA – Nine farming communities in the Atwima Mponua District have appealed to the government to re-activate work on an abandoned clinic project at Kotokuom started some years ago. The communities are Ataso, Kotokuom, Saakrom, Nnwirem, Katakyiwa, Apenimadi, Nyinawusu, Gogoikrom and Akonkye.

Work on the project, which was a Ghana and Saudi Arabia partnership had stalled for sometime now.

Mr George Boakye Danquah, Chairman of the Kotokuom Unit Committee and Spokesperson for the communities, told the Ghana News Agency that they were anxious to see the project re-started and completed to provide quality health care for the people.
