Rawlings to campaign for NDC in Techiman

Former President and founder of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Jerry John Rawlings, is expected to rock the party’s campaign in Techiman on Thursday.

This is part of his efforts to consolidate the campaign of President John Mahama.

Information gathered is that the former President was billed to address party supporters at the forecourt of Ohene Ameyaw’s Palace in Techiman.

According to sources, the supporters of the party “say the charisma of Mr. Rawlings cannot be downplayed when it comes to the pulling of crowd and votes for the party.”

Party supporters are enthusiastic ahead of the message from the flagbearer which they hope will gear them up for the rest of the campaigning period.
