Rawlings to appear before NRC on Thursday

Accra, Feb. 10, GNA- Former President Jerry John Rawlings has accepted to appear before the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC) on Thursday February 12, 2004.

A statement signed by Mr Victor Smith, The Former President’s Special Assistant said his acceptance was in response to two subpoenas served on the Former President on Tuesday at 1020 hours by the Commission.

It said the subpoenas were issued in connection with two petitions to the NRC by one Madam Yaa Adjei on the executions of Lance Corporal Sarkodie-Addo and the other by Mr Kwabena Agyepong on the murder of the three High Court Judges.
