Rawlings’ Office Deny Report About Accident Car

The Office of former President Jerry Rawlings has denied a Statesman newspaper report that one of Mr. Rawlings’ vehicles which was involved in an accident near Bimbilla in the Northern Region, has been abandoned in the town. The Statesman had reported that no attempt was made to report the accident, nor tow the vehicle, until the Pusiga police went for it. The vehicle- a Toyota Land Cruiser, which was conveying security and support staff from Tamale to Bimbilla, somersaulted off the road when the front suspension broke near Pusiga.
