Rawlings Is Our Mandela – NDC

The Nungua Krowor constituency chairman of the NDC, Mr. Steve Akwetey, has described the former president as the second Mandela of Africa because he has done a lot for Ghana.

He was speaking during the NDC official campaign launch of the Nungua Krowor constituency held at the premises of the Nungua Traditional Authority last week. According to Mr. Akwetey, if truth be told and people truly believe in God, everyone will readily accept that Rawlings has done a lot for this country and credit must therefore be given where it?s due.

He said Ghanaians have been suffering for the past four years and that the opportunity is here again, so the electorate should make good use of it.

He Advised all party members to use this opportunity to educate the public in their own small ways, adding that prices of goods have increased and so when NPP officials come to say on radio that all is well, the members should let the public know that they are lying.

On her part, the wife of Professor Mills, Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills, said that she knows her husband more than anyone else.

She said, the professor is learned, competent and above all truthful. She said he is therefore the obvious choice and that nobody should take his or her vote for granted because little drops of water make a mighty ocean.

Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Joshua Alabi, also advised the electorate to vote for Professor Mills because when they vote for him, they are voting for peace and development.

?The NDC is moving forward because with God all things are possible?, he said.
