Rawlings installed Chief at Anlo

The Chiefs and Elders of the Anlo Traditional Area of the Volta Region have installed former President Jerry John Rawlings as a sub chief of the area.

Mr Rawlings on Saturday at a ceremony was installed under the stool name, Torgbui Nutifafaga I for his meritorious contributions towards the development of the area.

The Awadada of Anlo, Togbi Agbesi Awusu II, expressed gratitude to President Rawlings for his support the area and expressed hope that he will not relent in always giving off his best.

President Rawlings expressed the gratitude of the Traditional Area and used the opportunity to enjoin them to show a lot more interest in political developments in the country and offer constructive suggestions on the way forward.
