Rawlings has compromised his NDC founder status – Ephson

Pollster Ben Ephson says Former President Rawlings has compromised his position as founder of the NDC by participating in the maiden congress of the NDP.

According to him, even though some supporters loyal to Mr. Rawlings may cross carpet, it is up to the NDC party executives to convince them to stay.

Mr. Ephson in an interview with XYZ News said Nana Konadu will not make any significant impact on the outcome of the December elections.

“It is obvious that the man [Rawlings] has sacked himself from the party and the NDC can turn Rawlings’s appearance at the NDP to their advantage.

“I still stand by the fact that Mrs. Rawlings without Jerry is not a political factor but the NDC must turn his presence at the NDP congress to their advantage”.

Mr. Ephson added that the NDP as a party do not stand a chance of making any significant impact during the December Polls.
