Rawlings for South Africa

Accra, Sept. 14, GNA – Former President Jerry John Rawlings left Accra on Tuesday, for South Africa to deliver a lecture on Democratic Reforms in Africa.

A statement signed by Mr Victor Smith, Special Aide to the former President, said the lecture would be delivered at the WITS Watersrand University.

The visit is part of Boston University’s programme for former African Presidents who meet annually in Boston, USA to discuss issues pertaining to the development of Africa.

His wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings and Mr Victor Smith for the four-day visit, accompanied him.
