Hohoe, Oct. 26, GNA – Former President Jerry John Rawlings on Monday commenced a campaign tour of constituencies in the northern and central parts of the Volta Region, during which, he would address National Democratic Congress (NDC) rallies and also pay courtesy calls on chiefs. A source at the Regional NDC Secretariat told the Ghana News Agency that the former President, who is also the founder of the NDC, would visit 15 constituencies.
Some of the constituencies he would visit include: Krachi-West; Krachi-East; Nkwanta-North; Nkwanta-South; North-Dayi; South-Dayi; Hohoe-North; Hohoe-South; Ho-East; Ho-West and Ho-Central.
The Source said Former President Rawlings would address a big rally at Juapong in the North-Tongu Constituency on Saturday to end his tour. He said Former President Rawlings would also be guest at the coronation of the Paramount Chief of the Tsito Traditional Area on Saturday.
