Rawlings attends investiture of Niger President

Accra, Dec. 21, GNA – Former President Jerry Rawlings leaves Accra on Tuesday for Niamey, Niger, to attend the investiture of the President of Niger, according to a statement issued in Accra by the Office of the Former President.

The statement signed by Mr Victor Smith, Special Assistant and Director of Public Affairs, said Former President Rawlings would be accompanied by his wife Nana Konadu.

The couple is expected to return to Accra on Wednesday.
