Rawlings apologises for neglecting the Volta Region

Ho, Nov. 1, GNA – Former President Jerry John Rawlings on Saturday apologised to the people of the Volta Region for his Government’s inability to fully develop the Region’s infrastructure base. He told the people of the Region that all was not lost, as the Government of Professor John Evans Atta Mills would make amends when voted into power on December 7.

Former President Rawlings, who was addressing supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Adaklu-Waya in the newly created Adaklu-Anyigbe District, urged Party loyalists to canvass for massive votes for the NDC in the Region.

He said the Government of Prof Mills would teach the masses how “to fish and rescue the country from further injustice, mismanagement, nepotism, cronyism, corruption and neo-colonialists policies.
