Ras Mubarak appointed National Youth Coordinator

Ras Mubarak has been appointed National Youth Coordinator by President John Mahama.

Mubarak stood as the governing National Democratic Congress’ Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma North in the 2012 general elections but lost.

The 34-year-old farmer, freelance Media publicist and political Consultant, has always spoken about his interest in harnessing the energies of the youth of Ghana for greater good.

Mubarak will be taking over from Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu at the National Youth Authority.

Tamakloe-Attionu was not too long ago, appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Micro and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) – an agency under the Office of the President which functions as the microfinance apex-body responsible for implementing the government’s microfinance programmes meant to reduce poverty as well as create jobs and wealth.
