Ransford Yeboah Strikes Late as Hamburg Hold Dortmund to a Draw

Ghanaian forward Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer came off the bench to score a dramatic late equaliser as Hamburg held Borussia Dortmund to a 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga earlier on Saturday.

The 23-year-old netted his first league goal of the season in the closing minutes, rescuing a valuable point for his side in a tense encounter at the with Dortmund.

Dortmund had taken the lead midway through the second half, but Hamburg refused to give in, pressing for an equaliser that eventually came through Yeboah’s composed finish after a well-worked team move.

The goal marks a confidence-boosting moment for the Ghana international, who has been gradually working his way back into the starting picture.

The result leaves Hamburg mid-table but with renewed momentum, while Dortmund will rue their missed chances to seal the win.
