Rainstorm hits community

Twifo Heman, (C/R) April 21, GNA – Roofs of several buildings, including Heman Secondary Technical School, Roman Catholic JSS and Som Nyame Kodur Primary School were ripped off when a severe rainstorm hit Heman townships and its environs last weekend. Properties worth about 100 millions cedis were destroyed while many people were rendered homeless.

Items destroyed included roofing sheets and personal belongings. Mr Prince Arhin, Twifo-Heman-Lower Denkyira District coordinator of NADMO who disclosed this to GNA on Tuesday said he had visited Heman to acquaint himself with the extent of damage and forwarded a report to the Central Regional branch of NADMO for assistance. According to Prince Arhin the victims are putting up with friends and relatives.
