Rains soak dockets at Praso police station

A heavy downpour on Tuesday flooded the Police Station and the homes of police personnel at Twifo Praso, soaking files, dockets and personal belongings following leakages in the roofs of the station and other buildings.

Mr Peter Ayirezang, District Police Commander, Twifo-Hemang-Lower Denkyira made this known when the District Co-ordinating Director, Mr Gorman Hammond visited the offices to acquaint himself with the extent to damage.

According to Mr Ayirezang the buildings constructed over 40 years, ago had not seen any repairs resulting in deep cracks in the roofs.

Mr Ayirezang appealed to the district assembly to provide the station with a new office to alleviate their suffering.

Mr Hammond on his part sympathised with the victims and promised to send their request to the assembly for solution.
