Radio XYZ owner & SIDALCO boss is dead

Sad news reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that the Chief Executive Officer of Sidalco Limited, David Lamptey, has passed on to eternal glory.

The late David Lamptey, who died on Wednesday evening – incidentally the last day of campaigning for all political parties contesting this year’s elections – was also the CEO of Radio XYZ.

A dye-in-the-wool NDC activist, David Lamptey once served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Korle Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

He is credited with introducing new brands of liquid fertilisers to boost agricultural productivity in the country.

His company, Sidalco Limited, is a pioneering market leader in liquid fertilizers in Ghana with sub-regional reach and continental aspirations.

Through its business operations, Sidalco has already had tremendous far-reaching socio-economic impact in facilitating wealth creation, generating employment along its value chain, increased agricultural and food output, reduced hunger and poverty, increased life quality of direct stakeholders and their circle of extended families.

More soon.
