QUIPS Communities given ultimatum

Begoro (E/R), Sept. 30, GNA- Executives of School Management Committees (SMCs) and Parent Teachers Association (PTAs) in the Quality Improvement in Primary School (QUIPS) pilot communities in the Fanteakwa District have been given one month to complete all school infrastructure projects.

The communities are Ahomahomasu, Bepoase, Feyiase and Osino. The District Director of Education for Fanteakwa, Mr Stephen Peter-Andoh, was addressing a four-day capacity building workshop for SMCs/PTAs of the pilot communities at Begoro.

Mr Peter-Andoh said the FCUBE programme had brought about full community participation and decision-making on their schools. He advised the people to desist from politicising the QUIPS programme.
