Queensland Ghana Australia Association now on the web

The Queensland Ghana Australia Association launched its website on 19 November 2004.

The President of the Association Ben Agyare said the website is a useful tool of communication in the twenty first century.

?The establishment of this website is one step further and I hope this would make us proud of our culture even though we so far away from home.

?This website will help in promoting Ghanaians in Queensland and make other cultures aware of their culture, activities and facilitate discussions,? he said.

Ben said this would also help our children maintain their culture as by logging in on to the website to find out any answers they might have about their heritage.

?I encourage all Ghanaians around the world and locally to visit the website and provide us with some feed back, he said.

The website will be officially commissioned at the end of year party on 27 November 2004 at Bemac

The website was created by the Multicultural Queensland Community Centre Ltd. in conjunction with Adjoa Kanda and executive members of the association
