Queenmothers of Adukrom endorse Mahama

Queenmothers of Adukrom, a farming community in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese district of the Central Region, have declared their support for President John Mahama in next week’s presidential and parliamentary elections.

During a visit to the area by Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur as part of his campaign for the 2016 polls, one of the queen mothers, Nana Sasaa, indicated that the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) had undertaken several development works in the area, hence, their support for the party.

She said: “We appreciate the works the NDC has done for us in our community. You have given us an information centre, water tank, public toilet, and many others, so we will vote for NDC. We want the NDC to continue.”

She further indicated that the New Patriotic Party (NP) would perform poorly in the elections in the area because of their resolve to vote massively for the NDC.
