Queen mother wants police to occupy abandoned police station

Queen for mother of Parkoso, a suburb of the Asokore Mampong Municipal area, Nana Achiaa Bruwaa Ampem ll says her community needs security men to protect them from rampant armed robbery in the area.

Police have abandoned a new police station in Parkoso which she described as ‘mind boggling’ that in the midst of growing security threats, an ultra-modern police station would be abandoned by the Ghana Police Service while criminals operate freely.

Nana Achiaa Bruwaa Ampem ll speaking to Mmrantehene Wereko Brobbey said they feel insecure in the community as thieves have been terrorizing residents in the area.

Nana Achiaa Bruwaa Ampem ll said they are ready to assist the police in terms of accommodation and would support them in their line of duty.
