Queen Elizabeth greets Ghana

Accra, March 3, GNA – Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom has sent a message of congratulations to President John Agyekum Kufuor on the occasion of Ghana’s 48th Independence anniversary.

The message released by the British High Commission in Accra read: “I have much pleasure in sending to Your Excellency my congratulations on the celebration of your National Day together with my best wishes for the prosperity and happiness of the people of the Republic of Ghana.” Ghana celebrates her Independence anniversary on Sunday March 6.
