2004-12-12/ A telephone contact has been made between the Libyan leader Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi and president John Kufuor of Ghana.
Qaddafi congratulated president Kufuor for Ghanaian people’s confidence in him by re-selecting him for a new presidential term.
During the telephone conversation, the Libyan leader and Kufuor reaffirmed the joint determination to promote AU structures to realize the aspirations of the African people to progress and development
