Put fear of God first in all endeavours – Youth told

The Grace and Love Chapel (GLC) at Ashiyie, near Madina in Accra, has celebrated its first anniversary with a call on the Youth to put the fear of God in every area they found themselves.

Reverend Joseph Opare Kpabo, Head Pastor of the Church who made the call encouraged the Youth to believe in themselves, be humble and creative.

Rev Kpabo said of late the entire world was battling with terrorism, and therefore advised the Youth not to allow themselves to be deceived into joining terrorist groups.

He appealed to the security agencies to strive to prevent terrorism from entering the country.

The Head Pastor commended the Ghana Medical Association for calling off its strike action, and urged government to find a lasting solution to members’ problems.

Rev Kpabo thanked members of the clergy and the general public for their assistance and support in diverse ways to make the anniversary celebration a success.

He disclosed that plans were underway to construct a befitting Auditorium, and also start mission schools to support the less privileged in society, “since Jesus said true worship is to care for the needy and the underprivileged.”

Bishop Dr Israel Billy James, in a sermon on “Atmosphere of Change,” reminded Christians that they needed the hand of God in their lives to transform and change them.

Bishop James reiterated the need for attitudinal change among Ghanaians to help accelerate national advancement and development.

Special prayers were said for peace and stability in the country.
