The National Executive Council of Private Universities Students’ Association of Ghana (PUSAG) on Thursday said it was optimistic that the tranquility and truth Ghanaians displayed during Election 2012 would transform into national development.
In a congratulatory message to President John Dramani Mahama issued in Sunyani it said “PUSAG is always happy and ready to partner government to achieve its goals, especially in the key area of Ghana’s youth empowerment and development”.
The message signed by Mr Michael Sumaila, Media Executive Director said “Most importantly, we want to duly commend the electorate for showcasing their effervescent belief in democracy and the roles of election, with almost 80 per cent of registered voters casting their votes to elect credible candidates.”
