Pupil falls from moving school bus to death

Abuakwa (Ash), April 1, GNA- A seven-year old primary one pupil of the Tweneboa Kodua International School at Abuakwa in the Atwima district met her untimely death on March 10, this year, when she fell from a moving school bus.

The Abuakwa District Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Emmanuel Akornor told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that on that day the driver of the school bus, Mr Stephen Nkansah was conveying the pupils home after classes at about 1555 hours. Abuakwa, the deceased who was sitting in front, suddenly opened the front door and fell from the moving vehicle and was ran over by the back tyre, killing her instantly. ASP Akornor said the body has since been buried.
