PTA provides computer laboratory for students

Koforidua, June 10, GNA- The Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) of New Juaben Secondary Commercial school on Wednesday inaugurated a 500-million cedis computer laboratory for the school.

The laboratory is equipped with 60 computers and accessories. It was inaugurated by the Chairman of the PTA, Mr. Emmanuel Ntow and dedicated by Rev. Tackie Otoo, the school Chaplain. Mr. Ntow cut the sod for the commencement of work on a three billion cedis three-storey girls dormitory block for the school, which is also funded by the PTA.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Eastern Regional Director of Education, Mrs. Ewurabena Ahwio expressed gratitude to the PTA for its co-operation with the Ghana Education Service(GES) for the provision of educational amenities to the school.

Mr. Yaw Asante, Headmaster of the school, advised the students to take their studies seriously so that they could be useful citizens.
