PTA donates 60-Seater bus to Ejisuman SHS

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the Ejisuman Senior High School has presented a new 60-seater TATA bus valued at GH¢148,663.00 to school.

The presentation was in response to a request made on the association by the students and teachers during the school’s 40 years anniversary held last year.

Mr Ahmed Yaya, the PTA Chairman, said this showed their strong commitment towards helping to provide the needed facilities and create the right environment to enhance academic work.

He said he was confident that the school would be motivated by the gesture to raise performance and appealed to the authorities to take good care of the bus by ensuring its regular maintenance.

The Reverend Collins Anane, the Headmaster, thanked the association for the donation and said it could not have come at a better time given the serious problem they have when it comes to transporting large numbers of students at a time.

Among those present were Mr Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Dr E.C. Nyarkoh, Board Chairman of the School, and Madam Gertrude Mensah, the Municipal Education Director.
