PTA and School building laboratory

Mpasatia (Ash), Dec. 30, GNA – The Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) and the school authority of the Mpasatia Secondary-Technical School in the Atwima District are building a physics laboratory for the school at a cost of 100 million cedis.

Mr Isaac Duku, Headmaster of the School, told the GNA that the Atwima District Assembly has undertaken to contribute 30 million cedis towards the project.

Mr Duku said the School has established about a hectare cassava farm and another hectare citrus farm.

He expressed concern about the deplorable state of an old block being used as classrooms and said it was death trap.

The Headmaster, therefore, appealed to the Otumfuo Education Fund and the Assembly to rehabilitate the block.
