PSG Crush Real Madrid 4-0 to Book Club World Cup Final Showdown with Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a performance of sheer dominance, dismantling Spanish giants Real Madrid 4-0 to book their place in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup where they will now face Chelsea.

In a match hyped for Kylian Mbappé’s reunion with his former club, it was Fabian Ruiz who stole the show. The Spanish midfielder struck twice, while Ousmane Dembélé and Gonçalo Ramos added a goal apiece to seal an emphatic victory at the MetLife Stadium in front of a stunned crowd of over 77,000, most of them Real Madrid fans.

Ruiz and Dembélé found the net within the opening nine minutes, catching Madrid completely off guard. Ruiz doubled his tally before the break, and Ramos added a fourth late on to cap what was a statement win by Luis Enrique’s men.

It was a night to forget for Madrid and new coach Xabi Alonso, whose side struggled for cohesion and offered little resistance to PSG’s sharp, free-flowing attack. Kylian Mbappé, making his first start of the tournament and faced PSG for the first time since his departure last summer.

For PSG, this was yet another dazzling chapter in an already historic season. Having won the French title and their first-ever UEFA Champions League trophy in May, thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final, the Parisians are now just one match away from adding the Club World Cup to their cabinet.

They began their tournament by sweeping past Atletico Madrid 4-1 and have now outscored opponents 12-1 en route to Sunday’s final. Victory over Chelsea would complete a clean sweep of silverware in what has become PSG’s most dominant campaign to date.

Sunday’s final promises to be an all-European clash of titans and if this performance is anything to go by, PSG are arriving with fire in their boots.
