Provisional results Awutu-Senya

Cape Coast, Dec. 29, GNA – The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has won Sunday’s presidential runoff in the Awutu-Senya constituency with 34, 544 votes while the New Patriotic Party (NPP) polled 29,561 votes and 914 of the ballots cast were rejected, according provisional results declared by the Electoral Commission.

In the December 7 elections the NDC had 25,721 votes and the

NPP 24,570 votes. In the Upper Denkyira East Constituency, the NPP won with

19,172 votes while the NDC had 11,164 votes and 255 of the votes

were rejected. On December 7, the NPP had 18,578 votes and the NDC 9, 480

votes. In the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam constituency the NDC had 19,201

votes while the NPP had 16,864 votes and 754 of the votes were

rejected. The NDC had 18,267 votes on December 7 and 16,797 for the

NPP.
