Prophet T.B Joshua Gives To Ghana Police

The General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B Joshua, has donated vehicles, office equipment and a parcel of land valued thousands of Ghana cedis to the Accra Regional Police Command.

In addition to the vehicles – a Nissan Sentra, KIA Pride and KIA Spectra- were laptops, a fridge and a bed, in addition to two plots of land situated at Nsawam.

Kofi Appeaning, a member of the church who represented Prophet T. B Joshua, indicated that the items were to help the police in the discharge of their duties. The two plots of land, according to help him, were to be used to build a police station to ease the pressure on the existing ones.

He added that the Synagogue Church of All Nations thought it appropriate to support the police in their efforts to curb crime in the system.

He advised that the items should be used to benefit all citizens.

The Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Rose Bio Atinga who received the items on behalf of the Inspector General Of Police (IGP), thanked the church, especially Prophet T.B Joshua, for the kind gesture.

She noted that fighting crime was not the sole responsibility of the police.

DCOP Bio Atinga noted, “The public must also help by giving out information about the activities of criminals and also make donations of useful items such as vehicles and cash to collectively help the police fight crime.”

“Recently, we have lost some of our men to armed robbers after facing them. Some of the robbers use sophisticated items which make it difficult for us to face them,” she added.

DCOP Atinga said the police lacked resources to cover all police men in the country.
