Gospel Prophet Seth Frimpong “Mehuri So” Receives an Award in Toronto

Leading Ghanaian Gospel Musician Prophet Seth Frimpong whose hit song, “Mehuri So” has hit the top music charts in Ghana over the past few years rocked the City of Toronto over this past Thanksgiving weekend.

His two platforms were special Guest appearances at the prestigious 7th edition of the Ghanaian-Canadian Community Awards Gala on Saturday October 6, 2007 which was held at the Heaven’s Banquet Hall on Martin Grove Avenue and the 10th Anniversary Celebrations of the Ghanaian-Canadian Community Newspaper, The Ghanaian News Canada held at the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church, 2250 Finch Avenue in North York.

Prophet Seth Frimpong was given a special award by the Ghanaian-Canadian Awards Committee for his great contribution to Ghanaian Gospel Music. His special recognition award was presented by Mr Rob Azuero Special Assistant to Hon. Roy Cullen, Federal M.P for Etobicoke, Toronto.

The “Mehuri So” Dancing Prophet rocked the two shows and had the large crowds on their feet anytime he hit the stage. His special style of mixing with the crowd and engaging them in “bone-breaking” dances really electrified the shows and had people yearning for more.
