Prof. Rev. Asante rates Ghanaian media

Chairman of the National Peace Council, Prof. Rev. Emmanuel Asante took his turn at TV3’s 20-by-20 series on Saturday, evaluating that though the media in Ghana was yet to chalk the expected success, it has not perform badly also.

He tasked journalists to specialize to enable them bring their expertise to bear on topical issues as well as tone down on love for assembling politicians to dissect issues instead of experts.

For now, Prof. Rev. Emmanuel Asante rated the media -A and at worst, B+. He also talked tough about the ‘one-district-one-factory’ policy as well as the negative perception people have about the non-paid Peace Council members.

The man of God also envisaged TV3, a brand of Media General Group, in the next decades which may blow your mind. The TV3 20-by-20 series will feature 20 most eminent Ghanaians in the coming weeks.
