Ho, Aug. 29, GNA- The Polytechnic Engineering Students of Ghana, (PESAG) on Saturday honoured Dr George Mawusi Afeti, Principal of Ho Polytechnic with an award for his meritorious work towards the development of polytechnic education in the country. Mr. Richard Akplotsyui, Dean of Engineering Department of the Ho Polytechnic read the citation of the award.
He said Dr Afeti had over the years distinguished himself among all equals as an accomplished engineer, educationist and an administrator. The Dean of Engineering Department also said, ” This is an individual who uses his knowledge, skills and understanding of a subject to help the staff and students realise their potentials and he also contribute to the development of technical education in Ghana.”
Mr Akplotsyui also lauded Dr. Afeti for his immense contribution to the Ho Polytechnic as the premier polytechnic in the country. Dr Afeti expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the award ceremony for recognizing his good works.
