Prez. Mahama must swear by “Antoa” in two weeks – NPP organiser

The Bibiani-Bekwai Constituency Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western region, Ben Ali Seaman has debunked claims by President John Dramani Mahama that he was not responsible for the payment of fraudulent judgment debts to cronies of National Democratic Congress (NDC) government officials.

According to Mr. Seaman, President Mahama expressed his ignorance while outlining his policy statement recently.

He however challenged the President to publicly swear by the nation’s powerful river deities, the Antoa Nyamaa in Ashanti region and Botwerewa aka Techiman JJ located in Brong Ahafo region to prove his innocence.

He gave the President a two-week ultimatum to restore integrity to the presidency.

Mr. Seaman called on President Mahama to hire the services of a sole commissioner to probe the judgment debt saga and retrieve funds from all fraudsters to promote the NPP’s free Senior High School (SHS) policy before December 7.

He further accused the NDC of complicity in the Woyome saga since David Anane, a substantive member of the NDC’s legal team, was defending the embattled NDC financier, Alfred Agbesi Woyome in court.

Mr. Seaman noted that Ghanaians were completely fed up with the propaganda by members of the NDC, explaining that the NDC failed to initiate any reliable and developmental policy in the past.

They always become uncomfortable whenever they hear about Nana Addo’s free SHS policy because they have never dreamt of such programme before. They only recycle what has been done already, he added.

He cautioned the NDC against using monies to lure the electorate to vote for them.

Mr. Seaman said, “Woyome’s scandal alone has pulled the entire NDC to opposition already because the Ghanaian taxpayers entrusted their monies into their hands to develop the nation and provide free education and many good policies.
