Prez Mahama and Francois Hollande to hold talks

President John Mahama will Tuesday afternoon hold talks with French President Francois Hollande.

Mr. Mahama is on a three-day official visit to the European country, the second since assuming office in January.

His first official visit was to Turkey.

The two leaders are expected to discuss a wide range of issues including Franco-Africa relations, French support in Mali, development cooperation between France and Ghana and the need to expand trade between their two countries.

President Mahama will also meet today, the Secretary General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie, of which Ghana is a member and grant audience to some French businesses with significant interest in the Ghanaian economy.

Accompanying the President are First Lady Lordina Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President Dr. Raymond Atuguba, Foreign Minister Hanna Tetteh, Finance Minister Seth Terkper and Trade Minister Haruna Iddrisu.
