Prestea Huni/Valley NDC retains five constituency executives

The Prestea/ Huni Valley constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has re-elected five of its executives to enable them continue their good works to win votes for the party in the 2016 general elections.

Mr. Ekow Arhin, the Organizer, was the only executive who lost his position with 141 votes as against 232 votes polled by Mr. John Afrifa , his opponent.

Mr. Rash Katu and Mr. Osumanu Awal also contested for the same position but both lost with 141 votes each.

Madam Beatrice Ofori retained the Women Organizer position with 97 votes to defeat Madam Ramatu Fuseini who had 65 votes.

The Chairman, Mr. Micheal Gbedemah, retained his position with 590 votes as against 63 votes polled by Mr. David Atanga.

Mr. Suleman Alhassan, the Vice Chairman, got 420 votes to defeat his only contender Mr. Kofi Akapo who polled 233 votes.

Mr. Matthew Aye, the Secretary, retained his position with 582 votes as against 71 votes polled by Mr. Carl Patrick Asamoah.

The National Disaster Management Organization co-ordinator for Prestea Huni/Valley, Mr. Iddrisu Salifu Mohammed, polled 111 votes to retain theYouth Organizer position, and Mr. Dann K Affu, his opponent, had 50 votes.

Mr. Onipa Yeboah, Propaganda Secretary and Mr. Isaac Andoh, Vice Secretary were retained unopposed.

The position of Deputy Women’s Organizer went to Madam Scholastica Kiatoo who obtained 72 votes while Madam Samira Husairu and Madam Monica Damanu had 40 and 37 votes respectively.

Mr. Kofi Sampson won the Deputy Organizer position with 455 votes to defeat Mr. Nicolas Nana Bekiako who had 199 votes.

Mr. Willaim Gyimah lost the Deputy Propaganda Secretary position with 285 votes as against 370 votes polled by Mr. Musah Sawutie.
