PRESS RELEASE!! Movement for Mahama

Movement for Mahama has
noted with great concern, shock and horror recent attempts by some element of
opposition NPP to destabilize the electoral process. We wish to remind all
Ghanaians especially the youth of this great country that institutions,
structures and mechanisms have been put in place to safeguard the individual
and collective rights of citizens.
As a movement formed to
uphold, protect and promote the ideals of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama
and the NDC, we wish to condemn any act or inactions that may subvert the
course of freedom, justice and peace in Ghana.
In the same vein, we wish
to strongly caution the youth of this country especially those who claim to
follow the tenets of His Excellency the president who stands for peace, to
desist from any acts that may lead to confrontation or conflict.
We applaud the high sense
of maturity and restraint been displayed by the youth in the wake of grave
intimidation and provocation. We appeal to all and sundry to remain steadfast,
calm, vigilant and hopeful of the one touch victory which is still on course
for John Mahama and the great NDC.
We have total trust and
confidence in the ability of His Excellency to lead this country, we have total
confidence in the electoral process, law, security and enforcement agencies,
and we trust that the destiny of this country is in the hands of the Lord.
Finally, let us all wait
patiently for the Electoral Commission of Ghana to complete its task of running
a successful election and making a final declaration within the next 24 hours.
Thank you, God Bless the
President, God Bless Ghana.

Signed
Movement for Mahama
