Presiding Member canvasses for votes

Mr Francis Teye, Presiding Member of Upper West District Assembly and Assembly Member for Adeiso Electoral Area, has appealed to the people to vote him back as their representative.

This, he said, would be a reward for the many development projects he had championed in the area within the last three years.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Adeiso, Mr Teye mentioned some of the projects that he had initiated in the area to include the construction of classroom blocks and teachers quarters at Esukyerema, extension of electricity to Adeiso Newtown, Amankrom, Akyease, Odene and other communities .

Mr Teye advised the youth who would be engaged as polling agents during the forthcoming District Assembly Elections to avoid taking in alcoholic beverages to enable them abide by all the rules regarding the elections as their contribution towards the democratic development of the country.
