President to institute performance enhancing system

President John Dramani Mahama on Friday said government would soon institute performance enhancing system for all public officials.

He said this would put public officials on their toes to put up their best.

President Mahama said this during the 2013 end of year party organised for workers at the Presidency at the Castle, Osu.

The party was also attended by Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur and both senior and junior officers at the Presidency who were treated to music from the Ghana National Fire Service band.

President Mahama said government would expedite action on all projects at the Flagstaff House, to accommodate all workers at the Presidency.

He said the current situation compelling the staff to shuttle between the Castle and Flagstaff House is inimical to progress.

The President gave the assurance that he would lead an administration that would fulfil all its campaign promises by the end of 2016 and called for support from all the workers to achieve these goals.

Mr Prosper Douglas Bani, Chief of Staff, announced that his outfit is working frantically to move other members of staff to the Flagstaff House in Kanda by the end of the first quarter of 2014.

He said the Clinic and Restaurant would soon be moved to the Flagstaff House to cater for the health and nutritional needs of workers.

Mr Bani said would also be banking services at the Presidency.
